Uplift is our big weekly event, and it is totally casual.  Uplift is designed for 8-12 graders.  At Uplift, our goal is to teach and reach any kid that walks through the door, whether the teen has been in church his whole life or it is his first time in a church.  We desire to be a welcoming, engaging, and safe place for every teen that comes to Uplift.  Our motto is Open, Real and Honest, and the activities and lessons that take place each week are designed to reach that motto and to bring our teens into relationships with Jesus Christ and each other.

Each week we have food, games, worship, and a lesson.

Our fall series is entitled "This is Your Life." In this series we are looking at ways to make our walk with Christ practical and real. It is often a struggle for us to live out Christ in our everday lives. This series is driven by the concept that God has given us a life that is created by Him and for Him, and He desires us to live our lives to bring Him glory. We are excited about this series, and it will continue through the rest of the year.

Eligibility

If your child is still in seventh grade and you would like him to attend, we welcome him once the following two things have been accomplished:

1. Both parent and child attend the first meeting together to see if both are comfortable with the atmosphere.  This is crucial for the learning experience.  If either parent or child is uncomfortable, we ask them to wait until the child enters eighth grade.

2. Contact Dan about your child attending Uplift to give him a heads up about which week you and your child will attend.
