Our Vacation Bible Schools are big events in our children's church lives. We have had one week-long and several weekend Vacation Bible Schools with themes from Extreme Faith to Serengeti Trek, all momentous events for our children.
We've just completed our 2008 VBS, God's Big Back Yard. In keeping with our church's overall theme of "Go Share the Lord," this VBS was all about serving others. The kids learned to serve family, friends, neighbors and their community, all in a fun atmosphere.
Every Sunday sermon, from June 1 through June 25 when VBS ended, related to the VBS lessons. So not only our children but our whole church was immersed in learning more about serving.
